For correct working of wgPicasa and wgPicasaPRO you need to use
  • php5
  • enabled the curl library (which is enabled standadard in a normal configuration)

Install

wgPicasaPRO
  • Download the zip file
  • Unzip it so there are TWO zip files left
  • 1) wgpicasaPRO.zip (component)
    2) wgpicasaPROplugin (plugin)
  • Use the install option in Joomla to install both of the zip files
  • Make sure you enabled the plugin
  • Upload your license file using the tab "license" unther component
  • Make your personal setting and make a configuration you are able to sue in a menu or article

 


    Upgrade

    First you have to uninstall the component, then do the normal install and the upgrade has been done. Please check you settings of the wgPicasa menu items.

    Settings


    Under the menu item you can make your setting by the PARAMETERS of the component:

    Name Specific name of the config
    Description Description of the config
    Username Fill in the user name of your Picasa account, normally the name before your GMail address.
    Password
    Album id
    		 If you like to show one specific album,  you have to fill in the ID of the album, you will find this ID by clicking your RSS feed of the album in your online Picasa webalbums, see here for more info
    Show username showing text of your username above the albums
    Show found albums showing text of find albums above the albums
    Welcome title Title text showing above albums
    Welcome subtitle You can add some text, like some explaining of the albums, or an agreement. It's also possible to do some html style in this text.
    Max Photos per page
    		 the maximum of the pictures per page you like.
    Max Photos per row
    		 The maximum pictures per row.
    Number of paging numbers
    		 How many page numbers
    Thumbnailsize
    		 The size of the thumbnail
    Imagesize The size of the pop-up light-box when you click on a thumbnail
    Show photo title
    		 Filename of photo
    Show photo summary Added text of the photo
    Show photo published Date of the photo














    Changing in your albums
    If you make changes in your Picasa web albums, these changing will be updated automatically. So if you delete or add pictures this will be immediately changed next time you visit the website.
